30th, 2009. He will be greatly missed.
August 27, 2009. On Day
+28, Jonathan's family was supposed to see if the bone marrow
was working. They were told that despite their efforts,
things could not go on.

July 14: A Bone Marrow Donor has been found! We finally found out that Jonathan Grossman
has found a bone marrow match. His transplant date is set
for July 29th 2009 [UPDATED JULY 27 2009].
July 14:US$75,000
raised in eight weeks! Though very successful in
terms of the number of donors, unfortunately, the bone marrow
drive ended up costing the Grossman family about US$75,000,
because the Canadian Blood Services organization - Onematch
- would not fund the drive. But in a mere eight weeks, the
Grossman family and many volunteers raised the US$75,000
themselves and now all the bone marrow tests are paid for.
July 14:Jonathan will move to the hospital for the preparation on
July 22.

The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company's
production of "Tuesdays with Morrie" special
fundraiser on Tuesday May 26th at the Wintergarden Theatre
was a great success.
Thanks to the Green Family, part of the proceeds from
that evening's production was donated to the Gift of Life
Foundation to help cover the Grossman's Bone Marrow Drive
outstanding account.
